Brasil and Inter Milan striker Adriano is to be the new face of PSP game Pro Evolution Soccer 6.
Adriano, will appear on Pro Evo packaging across Europe, with other local players to be announced shortly.
"I am really looking forward to working with Konami on what everyone knows to be the most realistic football game around," Adriano said.
Konami will be bringing Pro Evolution Soccer 6 to PSP and DS (as well as PC, PS2 and Xbox 360) in the Autumn. We're particularly looking forward to the DS version; as we said in our review of FIFA on Nintendo's machine, the DS still awaits its first decent football title.

Hundreds of PSP accessories to choose from this Christmas |
|
Those looking to buy something special for the gamer who has everything might want to look at Playstation Portable (PSP) accessories for Christmas.
The NYKO Theatre Experience case elevates the PSP into a standing position and includes two speakers, allowing videos and films to be viewed comfortably without holding the unit or using earphones.
The case also adds seven hours of battery life to the PSP with its own built in lithium-ion battery. It is available in the UK at around £49.99.
PSP users who watch video frequently may find they have to spread movies or TV shows across several memory cards, but it can get frustrating to carry multiple cards around with you. The 4G micro drive and battery from Datel may be the solution.
The unit fits snugly to both ends of the PSP unit, plugging into the memory card socket. Once fitted, PSP users can use the included USB cable to download content to the hard drive, which can be browsed with Sony's inbuilt operating system. The extra battery also doubles the playing time of the console.
The Datel PSP micro drive kit is available now for around £139.99.

Pret-a-PSP |
|
Some of the biggest names in fashion and music were brought together by Sony Computer Entertainment America last week to celebrate the launch of what has been billed as "the hottest lifestyle accessory of the year" - the PlayStation Portable system.
World-renowned designers such as Calvin Klein, Lulu Guinness and Maharishi teamed up with musical icons like Missy Elliot and Gwen Stefani to create a range of custom-designed PSP accessories.
"Saturday's show demonstrated how PSP is the must-have accessory for today's mobile lifestyle," said Molly Smith, senior director, communications and brand development, Sony Computer Entertainment America.
"The showcase of cutting-edge designs from fashion's top talent illustrated the merging of fashion and technology on a new level."
But while the Pret-a-PSP fashion show was attended by a star-studded audience including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Naomi Campbell, it wasn't just all glitz and glamour.
Sony will be donating $25,000 of the money raised that evening to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by Hurricane Katrina, in addition to previous contributions made.
