Exclusive PSP game available through Sony's online store

A new game designed exclusively for the PSP has been released through Sony's online store for the PC.

It's not everyday that a Star Wars game comes exclusively to the PSP, but that's exactly what Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron will be doing this summer. The story follows the galaxy's toughest scoundrels -- the Renegade Squadron -- as Han Solo builds the team and takes them on missions to Korriban's Valley of the Sith, the rocky remains of Alderaan and the fiery ashes of the volcanic planet Sullust.

Beyond single-player action, Renegade Squadron allows up to 16 players to compete via Infrastructure mode (eight-person support for ad hoc) on 20 different maps, including redesigned favorites such as Hoth, Mos Eisley and Endor.

Users need to create a 'virtual wallet' in order to purchase items, which can be downloaded and transferred from the PC to the PSP using the PlayStation Network Downloader software and a USB connection.
